Below is a list awesome must read financial books that I recommend anyone who wants to be financially independent
The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason
This book is one of the first books I read about money. It is a great little book for anyone who wants to know the foundations of getting wealthy and managing your money.
The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
Dave Ramsey is the king of getting people out of debt! This book outlines his “Baby Steps” which are 7 ways he recommends to get you out of debt. Dave Ramsey is American and talks about Roths, Traditional IRAs and 401Ks which many outside of America won’t understand but I still really recommend his steps or at least check out his Baby Steps, they work!
The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley
Stanley identifies 7 common traits that show up again and again among those who have accumulated wealth. It shows that millionaires don not always live in fancy suburbs but living next door to you and I.
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki
Tells the story of Kiyosaki and his two dads – his real father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. Kiyosaki explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you.
